The former pump.fun employee who was accused of exploiting the platform to steal $1.9 million says he has been arrested, charged, and is currently on bail in the United Kingdom.
Jarett Dunn claimed responsibility for the attack via a May 16 X post published through his account, “STACCoverflow.” This is after pump.fun accused Dunn of using his “privileged position” at the company to access a “withdraw authority” to compromise the meme coin creation and trading platform’s systems.
Jarett Dunn Allowed To Use A “Super Restricted” Device To Post Online
“I spent overnight in custody,” said Dunn in a May 19 X post. The former pump.fun employee shared that his mental health has been “taken into question.” He also shared that he is currently being kept in a hospital.
Dunn is still able to post on X, however, since the facility he is being kept in has given him a “super restricted” iPad that is signed in on his new X account, “free stacc.” Taking full advantage of this opportunity to post online, he accused his former employers of “far more heinous” crimes.
I am once again without any of my 2fa for a lil while. I spent overnight in custody as the pump team alleges I stole 2m of their Ill gotten gains with conspiracy to steal another 80m.

In a thread on X, Dunn started a series of polls asking his followers if he should report the pump.fun team for their crimes. He simultaneously accused the team of several financial crimes and bad employment practices in different jurisdictions.
Pump.Fun Allegedly Claiming That The Platform’s TVL Is Their Money
“Funny enough they are claiming tvl is their money in this charge,” Dunn said in an X post. “Withdraw all your capital from pump immediately if I were you.”
He alleged that Pump.fun did not deduct taxes for their overseas employees, and failed to provide them with work visas or proper contracts.
